Pastel wedding colour palettes for Spring
Creating considered and exciting colour palettes is a big part of the Anemone design process and something I take great pleasure in. In this post I’m sharing some gorgeous pastel wedding colour palette inspiration for Spring.
Pretty Sunset Pastels
This colour combination is absolutely stunning. An array of pretty Spring sunset shades such as lilac, lavender, and light mauve, blending into pale coral, peach, and light butterscotch. With little wisps of cloud-like white.
I think peachy-orangey shades and lilacs are a match made in heaven and can work beautifully in both modern or more timeless wedding designs. Spring is the perfect season for florals in these colours as this gorgeous wedding at Stone Barn in April wonderfully showcases.

Stylish Pastel Pops
This may be my all-time favourite wedding ceremony floral installation. Created by the hugely talented Lucy at Bud Flora. One of the things Lucy is also amazing at is colour combinations in florals. I love how she translated the brief for this couples epic wedding celebrations at Hedsor House. This light sky blue pops perfectly against the softer pastel pink, ivory, caramel shades and rich greenery.
These brighter pastels come to life in light, white spaces. As well as in outdoor landscapes like this where you want contrasts against the natural surrounds.
Other great accent pastels to use alongside white, ivory and soft colours include bright lilac, candy pink, spring green, and lemon.

Chic Soft Pastels
This barely-there pastel palette is perfect for those of you wanting to incorporate colours in a more subtle way. A classically romantic combination pale lavender, blush, light peach, shell pink, cream, and ivory. This works most beautifully with ruffled Spring ranunculus and reflexed roses.
I love to see this palette against otherwise darker or richer backdrops. It really brings a Spring-like lightness and freshness to spaces like these in the grand Somerley House.

Natural Muted Pastels
A pastel palette doesn’t need to include the sweet candy and ice cream shades. It can be a bit more muted, combining colours such as delicious light buttercup, and warm peach with ivory, white, and contrasting darker greenery or purple toned foliage.
The effect is more understated and subtly refined. These palettes work beautifully for modern organic wedding designs like this East London May wedding. And complement venues with a lot of dark wood and/or lush interior fabrics.
Nude and soft neutrals such as sand or latte can work really well in these palettes too.
